FTB began informally within the United Reformed Church but now includes many with similar aims from other denominations.
There is no membership, simply a mailing list and the opportunity to support running costs through occasional donations.
FTB organises national and regional conferences intended to encourage a liberal agenda within the Church.
It publishes booklets for sale and mails out a free 'Briefing' newsletter booklet three times a year.
Welcome to an informal network of liberally minded Christians striving for an open, inclusive and thinking church.

The Free To Believe
'Briefing' magazine is published three times a year and normally posted to all supporters on our mailing list.  Due to increasing production and postage costs we are now offering the option of a free pdf download of each subsequent new issue.  If you are happy to access the Briefing this way in future, please let Sue Liddell know at her email address so she can save a stamp!  Unless Sue is otherwise advised, snail-mailed Briefings will continue to be sent to existing addresses, of course.

The Spring 2013 Briefing pdf is now ready to access and download from the Briefing Library page.
All issues from Autumn 2012 will be saved and remain permanently available for downloading at any time.

Even an informal group can still benefit from some guidance, and the following volunteers (in alphabetical order) all offer their talents on the Free To Believe committee.
